Who is Robert Perrego?

When WorldCo's Wall Street traders needed to know how to read a stock chart, they went to Robert Perrego.

Robert Perrego was a Managing Director and a Proprietary Equity Trader at WorldCo LLC for five years. Using Technical Analysis and Chart Reading techniques, Robert profitably traded over 100 million shares of stock worth billions of dollars for his personal account.

Robert delivered weekly lectures on Technical Analysis for WorldCo's other traders. The tapes of these lectures became required viewing for all new traders at the firm. These videos inspired the creation of the educational package now being sold at StockTradingCards.com.

Robert Perrego has well over a decade of experience as an analyst and trader in both the fixed income and equity markets on Wall Street.  With the company he founded in 2007, Buy Low Sell High LLC, Robert brings his professional market advice and is selling the educational package he developed to both the home investor and professional traders.

Robert started his Wall Street career in 1993 at Cowen & Company on their Municipal Bond institutional trading desk after completing his Master Thesis in Economics.  His thesis on the issuance methods of Municipal Bonds for the New York State Senate Finance Committee statistically proved that the competitive issuance of Municipal Bonds was cheaper for municipalities than negotiated issuance.  In just over a year at Cowen he was promoted to Underwriter.

After leaving Cowen in the spring of 1997, Robert managed a stock brokerage shop for Andrew Lanyi at CIBC Oppenheimer.  He later joined WorldCo LLC as a Proprietary Equity Trader in November of 1998.

Two major factors that helped Robert become successful in his trading were learning risk analysis and Technical Analysis.  In trading and investing, learning to pay attention to the risk in a trade is just as important, if not more important, than simply looking at how much money a trade could make.  The study of Technical Analysis and reading Stock Charts became his chief tool in identifying profitable trades.

After being promoted to Managing Director at WorldCo, one of Robert’s duties was to train the new traders on his team.  Known within the firm as a chart reader, he was asked to lecture to WorldCo’s traders about Technical Analysis and to train them to read Stock Charts.

At the end of his first lecture, Robert pulled up a chart of Univision (which at the time had the NYSE stock ticker UVN) and discussed why he thought it was a short the next day.  The analysis was spot on.  The next day the stock dropped over 20 points.

After making a prediction like this in front of a room full of firm traders, his next scheduled lecture was standing room only.  WorldCo subsequently filmed a series of Robert’s lectures and required every new trader at the firm to study them before being allowed to trade.

Rob took this concept one step further by creating a portable system of trading cards to help people master technical analysis.  The success of the WorldCo videos and the effectiveness of the trading cards inspired Robert to found Buy Low Sell High LLC and to combine these tools into an effective, practical multi-media educational package now available to the public.
